Kings Spotlight

Current NHL Season

The Kings are banking on former Edmonton head coach Todd McLellan to come in and see if this Los Angeles core has one more deep playoff run in them.

The veteran core of Ilya Kovalchuk, Dustin Brown, Jeff Carter, Drew Doughty, and goaltender Jonathan Quick are all back with the hope that most of the group will improve upon its play from a season ago.

To compliment the veterans, a group of teenagers – Alex Turcotte, Rasmus Kupari, Arthur Kaliyev, and Tobias Bjornfot – are ready to make their mark. They are all top-100 NHL prospects, so the future looks bright in Tinseltown.

The ways you can catch the Lakers in style at Staples Center are nearly limitless. The nearly 200 private and event suites were all refurbished in 2016, making for a state-of-the-art premium experience. Premier... MORE

Past Spotlights

The Los Angeles Kings enter the 2017-18 season again primed for a deep playoff run. The Kings are perennial contenders, having won the stanley cup in both 2012 and 2014. Team captain Anze Kopitar will lead the charge for this talented LA hockey team. The Kings are also returning goal scorers Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli. Toffoli is an energetic player with knack for highlight reel goals. The form of goalkeeper Jonathan Quick may be the biggest indicator of whether or not the Kings go on another deep playoff run. Quick looks to bounce back from injury and become the brick wall that helped the Kings win those two cups. Elite defensman Drew Doughty will lead the Kings on the backend.

The Staples Center is home to the Los Angeles Kings, Lakers and Clippers. Inside the Staples Center are three different sky box levels: A Level, B Level & C Level. All three levels feature great views and angles of the action. With a Kings luxury suite you will also receive VIP parking, private entry into the venue and exclusive access to the VIP bars and restaurants inside. Staples Center suites feature HDTVs, interior and exterior premium seating, in-suite catering options, Wi-Fi, upscale furnishing and a dedicated suite attendant.

The Los Angeles Kings will host the San Jose Sharks at the Staples Center to open up their 2014-15 schedule. The 2013-14 Stanley Cup Champions nearly lost to the Sharks in round one of these past playoffs but pulled out an amazing run that lasted the entire postseason. This was their fifth strait season making the playoffs. Goalie Jonathan Quick was exceptional once again this season and went on to earn the Jennings Trophy. Anze Kopitar led the Kings in scoring for the seventh consecutive season. This past season, Kings fans helped record a club record streak of consecutive sellouts at Staples Center. It’s now over 100 games and counting. As the Kings defend their Stanley Cup, fans can watch the action from three different suite levels inside Staples Center. With your Kings suite you will get to choose from a variety of premium in-suite catering options. Other first-class amenities include VIP parking, private entry into the arena and exclusive access to stadium clubs and restaurants.
