The Grizz got back above .500 and into the postseason mix for the first time in four years and their success wasn’t exactly a secret. Former second overall draft pick Ja Morant is on the fast-track to NBA stardom, averaging more than 19 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds last season. Supporting castmates Jaren Jackson Jr. and Dillon Brooks may not be household names yet, but they provide head coach Taylor Jenkins with a solid foundation to build around. Desmond Bane could be a breakout candidate offensively, and on the defensive side the buck stops with Steven Adams. When it comes to upscale amenities, the FedEx Forum offers suite options for one or 41 regular season home games. The views, and benefits, get no better than floor seating. Past Spotlights
After trading Marc Gasol and Mike Conley, the Memphis Grizzlies are entering a new era in their basketball history this season. The Grizz believe they have two franchise cornerstones in Jaron Jackson Jr. and rookie Ja Morant. Grayson Allen, Josh Jackson, and Tyus Jones will also be put to the test. Andre Iguodala should provide veteran leadership for the young bucks. First-year head coach Taylor Jenkins will be feeling out this bunch as he evaluates what he has in the future of the franchise.
The FedEx Forum is one of the best arenas in the league to take in a game, so why not up the ante with a premium experience? Start with floor seats and everything that comes with them: complimentary food and drinks through the third quarter, valet parking and courtside entrance, access to the Audi Sport Club, and merchandise discounts.
Hospitality Suites hold anywhere from 24 to 54 people, while Club Boxes and Theater Boxes are also available. Both boxes come with all-inclusive food and drink and reserved parking in the Gossett Motors Garage. Theater Boxes consist of four to six seats with your own personal dining table, while Club Boxes hold up to 20 people with barstool seating.
After a disappointing season last year, the Memphis Grizzlies will look to bounce back in a strong way in 2018-19. Franchise cornerstones Mike Conley and Marc Gasol will be fully healthy, which means the playoffs aren’t out of the question for Memphis this year. Add in free agent acquisition Kyle Anderson and first round draft pick Jaren Jackson Jr., and things are looking up in Memphis.
Most of last year’s struggles were a result of Conley and Gasol missing time due to injury. Gasol at his best is one of the best centers in the league, and Conley is easily a top 10 point guard. Both are leaders for this young Grizzlies team on both ends of the floor.
Rookie Jaren Jackson Jr. gives the Grizzlies plenty of reasons to be excited about for the future. Drafted 4th overall out of Michigan State, Jackson Jr. is a versatile forward/center whose range extends beyond the arc. Expect Jackson Jr. to take on a bigger role as the season goes on. Memphis is also excited about 26-year old Kyle Anderson, who the team signed to a 4-year, $37 million contract in the summer. The versatile forward comes to Memphis from the San Antonio Spurs, where he thrived under Gregg Popovich.
Guards Dillon Brooks and MarShon Brooks will look to build off strong finishes in the second half of last year. Chandler Parsons, who is finally healthy, will also look to play a key role off the bench. Garrett Temple, JaMychal Green, and Wayne Selden are all in line to earn significant minutes for head coach J.B. Bickerstaff.
