The New York Mets experienced a transitional 2024 season as they regrouped from the previous year's disappointments. The summer also showcased some of the return from 2023's sell-off, prospect Luisangel Acuña (acquired in the Scherzer trade) made his MLB debut and flashed exciting speed on the bases. Off the field, the Mets made headlines by retaining slugger Pete Alonso with a contract extension, quelling rumors of a trade and solidifying a cornerstone for the future. As they head into 2025, the Mets have supplemented their young core by signing a couple of veteran pitchers to stabilize the rotation, setting the stage for what they hope will be a swift return to contention.

Citi Field continues to amaze fans with its blend of modern amenities and homage to Mets history. The Mets have also expanded their premium offerings: the Cadillac Club at Payson's, an exclusive speakeasy-style club in right field with just 100 seats, has become one of the most sought-after tickets for its intimacy and upscale experience. Traditional luxury suites and clubs like the Delta Sky Club were refreshed as well, ensuring that corporate groups and VIPs enjoy top-tier comfort. Meanwhile, the general fan base still loves the basics done right, ample concession choices (from Shake Shack to authentic NYC pizza), the home run apple popping up after Mets dingers, and the Coca-Cola Corner social area where friends can gather. A night at Citi Field is both a nod to beloved Mets traditions and a thoroughly modern entertainment experience, leaving the Flushing faithful excited for each trip to the park.

New York took a step back in 2023, but there's still excitement surrounding the team. First baseman Pete Alonso hit 46 home runs, ranking third in MLB. It was his third season smashing 40+ bombs and recording 100+ RBI. And infielders Jeff McNeil and Francisco Lindor also both produced, playing nearly every game. Starting pitcher Kodai Senga had a fantastic rookie season, keeping an ERA of just 2.98. He'll be joined by newcomers Luis Severino, Adrian Houser, Sean Manaea, and Shintaro Fujinami on the mound. The Mets should stay afloat in 2024.

A private experience with VIP parking and entrance, premium service, gourmet food and drink, and elite sightlines are included among the five options.

The Mets probably had the most eventful offseason--both positively and negatively--than any other team. It started with the loss of Jacob DeGrom, but that turned into signing Justin Verlander, Jose Quintana, and Kodai Senga for the rotation, while the club brought back closer Edwin Diaz, Brandon Nimmo, and Jeff McNeil to big deals. They tried to sign Carlos Correa but backed out after the physical, then Quintana (out until July) and Diaz (likely out for 2023) were injured in spring training. Still, the Mets won 101 games last year and are bringing back a top-five offense and a strong pitching staff with returning veterans Max Scherzer and Carlos Carrasco.

Besides a giant new scoreboard debuting this year at Citi Field, the Mets also pushed forward the right-field fences in a bit to build the Cadillac Club speakeasy for a new premium offering in 2023. The Clover Club is situated behind home plate and comes with all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic beverages, while the Empire Suites are the stadium's traditional luxury-box option. You get a private entrance into the stadium and suite level along with access to premium clubs and restrooms throughout the stadium. These hold anywhere from 16 to 31 people and come with a food and beverage credit along with visits from mascot Mr. Met and Mets alumni.
