The Pittsburgh Pirates showed glimmers of a bright future during the 2024 season. While the Bucs' final record didn't break .500, the year was marked by significant progress and excitement surrounding their next generation of talent. No moment was bigger than top prospect Paul Skenes making his debut, the hard-throwing righty lived up to the hype and earned NL Rookie of the Year honors after going 11-3 with a 1.96 ERA, giving Pittsburgh a bona fide ace to build around. Fellow youngsters like infielder Termarr Johnson and catcher Endy Rodriguez also gained valuable experience, complementing the star turn of Bryan Reynolds, who provided veteran stability in the lineup. The team started hot in April and though growing pains followed, manager Derek Shelton kept the clubhouse focused on growth and fundamentals. Importantly, the Pirates' passionate fan base began to reconnect with the team, sensing that the tough rebuilding years may finally be yielding payoff. The offseason brought additional positivity as the Pirates signed a couple of veteran mentors and saw a full season of development for their prospects. There's a renewed energy in Pittsburgh heading into 2025, as fans believe the Pirates are on the cusp of something special.

PNC Park, often lauded as one of the most beautiful stadiums in America, became even more fan-friendly with some recent enhancements. Ahead of the 2023 season, the Pirates installed a brand-new, larger LED scoreboard that doubled the size of the previous one and added other upgrades to "enhance the gameday experience for fans". This video board, set against the gorgeous backdrop of the Pittsburgh skyline and yellow bridges, makes replays and graphics pop for everyone in attendance. The Pirates have also refreshed their premium seating offerings; the Hyundai Club behind home plate was updated with new décor and dining options, continuing to give VIP fans an upscale experience. In general seating, the team improved concessions by bringing more local Pittsburgh flavor into the park (Pierogi stands, anyone?). The riverwalk area beyond center field remains a gem, where fans can gather before the game to listen to live bands and watch the boats on the Allegheny. Between the stunning views, the ever-present Pierogis Race, and these new tech and comfort upgrades, PNC Park provides an atmosphere that's both intimate and exhilarating, leaving Pirates fans excited to come back, especially as the team's future looks brighter.

For the first time since 2015, Pittsburgh has a real shot at making the postseason. In the lineup, infielders Ke'Bryan Hayes and Oneil Cruz, along with outfielder Bryan Reynolds, provide stability and star power. The additions of Rowdy Tellez, Yasmani Grandal, and Edward Olivares will only add onto that. On the mound, starter Mitch Keller leads the way. Recent signings of Martin Perez and Marco Gonzales bring a new look to the Pirates' rotation. And, in the bullpen, David Bednar and Aroldis Chapman can shut things down. Pittsburgh is well-rounded and ready to fight for a ticket to the playoffs.

Beautiful PNC Park has various premium seating options for fans. The Home Plate Club provides 4-8 tickets for patrons. Located directly behind the dish and underneath the concourse, in-seat service, a dedicated entrance, private restrooms, a candy wall, and more are included. Pittsburgh's largest suite is the World Series Suite, which has 40-50 tickets, five parking passes, food and beverage, and access to the Club Level. The Super Suite is another option, offering mostly the same amenities with 31 tickets. Other smaller suites are also available, including anywhere from 15-19 tickets.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are hoping that some young talent can start to lead the club to more victories in 2023. Mitch Keller is a solid Opening Day starter, and he could be challenged atop the rotation by Roansy Contreras, who had a strong debut for the Pirates last year and could improve into a franchise player, and veteran pitcher Rich Hill joined the fold. On offense, All-Star Bryan Reynolds remains on the club. A young lineup will be guided by veterans Andrew McCutchen and Carlos Santana after they were brought in on free-agent deals.

Even when the Pirates are having a down year, no one can have a bad time at PNC Park, one of MLB's crown-jewel stadiums situated on the downtown Pittsburgh riverfront. Luxury suites at the ballpark wrap around the entire infield, hold 19 fans, and come with parking passes and a food and non-alcoholic drink package. World Series Suites are down the left-field line and hold up to 40 guests with an option to purchase 10 additional tickets. The Home Plate Club puts you within the first 12 rows behind home plate and comes with a pregame buffet and all-inclusive food and soft drinks during the game.
