Red Bull New York Suites

The New York Red Bulls are one of the original charter members of the MLS, beginning play in 1996. The club plays in Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ, where they have called home since the arena was built in 2010. As one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, the New York Red Bulls will look to compete for the MLS Cup in 2018.

Chris Armas is currently the Red Bulls head coach, taking over midseason in July 2018 after former coach Jesse Marsch left as the clubs all-time winningest coach. Forward Bradley Wright-Phillips is one of the top goalscorers in the MLS, providing the Red Bulls with a consistent offensive weapon. Wright-Phillips has spent his entire MLS career with the New York Red Bulls and is a two-time MLS Golden Boot winner. The Red Bulls are also led by defenders Aaron Long and Michael Murillo, both of whom were selected to the 2018 MLS All-Star Game along with Bradley-Wright Phillips. Goalkeeper Luis Robles has done a solid job as the last line of defense for the Red Bulls.

The New York Red Bulls compete in the Hudson River Derby against the newly formed NYCFC, New York City’s other MLS team. With two Major League Soccer clubs in the city, the market for soccer in New York keeps on growing.
