The Ducks' 2024 campaign was a rebuilding year, but fans saw promise in the young core. The right winger had 37 goals in 2021-22 and 38 assists in 2022-23. Anaheim has plenty of defensive prospects who will come onto the scene in the next two years. And in goal, Petr Mrazek is a dependable veteran. The Ducks will be one to watch in the coming seasons.

Recent rookies gaining experience should pay dividends for the Ducks this year under fourth-year head coach Dallas Eakins. If Max Comtois can get back to his 2020-21 season levels (55 points), the Ducks' offense should be improved. Longtime captain Ryan Getzlaf retired, but veteran defenseman John Klingberg, who was considered by many to be the top defenseman available in free agency, was signed to help the young defense come together.
