The Hawks parlayed their successful second half of last season with a productive offseason that has the team well-positioned for the future. Trae Young should develop quickly in this second season. John Collins took a big jump in his second season, averaging nearly 20 points and 10 rebounds a game, so he is also poised to improve even more this season. A mix of young and veteran additions like De’Andre Hunter, Cam Reddish, Evan Turner, Jabari Parker, and Vince Carter should lead to even more improvement this season.
State Farm Arena is entering year two following an extensive rehabilitation of the building formerly known at Philips Arena. That included a new scoreboard, the addition of big-screen TVs at concession stands, plus new club areas and revamped suites. These newer premium experiences include Veranda Suites, which are all-inclusive, located on the lower level and designed with Southern hospitality in mind. TopGolf Suites include all the bells and whistles of a suite and add a golf simulator! Zac Brown’s Social Club features Southern gourmet-style food and hand-made features crafted in his own craftsman workshops.
New perks this season for all fans includes free Wi-Fi throughout the building and, following in the footsteps of the Atlanta Falcons, fan-friendly pricing on regular concessions, including $1 chips, $2 jumbo pretzel, $3 bottled soda, and $5 on select beers.
