Full Stack Engineer
Remote, SF/Bay Area/NYC, or Hybrid
The Role
We are looking for a product-minded engineer that is capable of navigating our full technology stack, and ready to make meaningful contributions to our business. This role will work side-by-side with our CTO and VP of Engineering, helping advance our marketplace capabilities and play a leading role in building out features/functionality for our SuitePro® platform. The ideal candidate will have the capacity (and passion) to own the entire lifecycle of the components they build.
Responsibilities
The candidate for this role should have the flexibility to switch gears when needed to prioritize their time and energy. Some days will be spent building new features, others will be spent squashing bugs, improving SQL queries, or building a new UI. Among other things, this person will:
Design, build, test, and launch new product features (own entire lifecycle)
Maintain, improve, and nurture our existing suite of consumer-facing, B2B, and internal products
Improve our UI and user experience
Contribute to our platform’s responsiveness and reliability
Assist with integrating our software with external systems
Contribute ideas to our tech roadmap
Skills & Prior Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) from a top academic institution
10+ years of relevant experience (industry-specific experience not required)
Thorough understanding of web technology and web development
Product mindset - demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
Experience in data modeling or systems architecture
Experience scaling back-end systems
