Guns N' Roses was formed in 1985 and consisted of the original band members Axl Rose (vocalist), Izzy Stradlin (guitarist), Duff McKagan (bassist), and Steven Adler (drummer). The band signed its first record deal in March of 1986 with Geffen Records for $75,000. Guns N' Roses received higher offers from other labels however they chose to sign with Geffen Records to keep the bands name and image intact.
Career Achievements
Guns N' Roses is arguably one of the greatest rock bands of all time having sold over 100 million albums worldwide and 45 million albums in the United States alone. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 in the first year that the band had eligibility.

For the first time in over 20 years, Guns N’ Roses are back together and on the road for their “Not In This Lifetime” tour. The reunion tour will feature Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan. Fans can plan to hear their favorite hits by Guns N’ Roses including “Paradise City,” “Welcome to the Jungle,” and “Sweet Child O’Mine.” The “Not In This Lifetime” tour is expected to be their biggest tour since “Use Your Illusion” in 1991-1993.
