Gerard Gallant got the Golden Knights off the ground in Las Vegas, now he’ll look to help return to the Rangers to playoff glory. The former Jack Adams Award winner takes over for David Quinn after the Rangers missed the postseason for a fourth consecutive season and has a healthy mix of youth and experience. Mika Zibanejad, Chris Kreider, and Artemi Panarin are all capable of netting 20-30 goals a season. A great deal is expected out of 2020’s top overall draft pick Ian Lafreniere, who scored 12 goals as a 19-year-old in his rookie campaign. Adam Fox continued his growth as an offensive-minded defenseman last season, recording 47 points in 55 games. Igor Shesterkin has emerged from the shadow of goaltending giant Henrik Lundqvist and will be the Rangers go-to-guy in net for the foreseeable future. Enhance your visit to the... MORE

Rangers Spotlight

Past Spotlights
After trading away much of their offensive and defensive core in 2018, the Rangers had a productive offseason that suggests the Blueshirts are ready to contend once more to give star goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, who is now 37 years old.
It started in the NHL Draft over the summer, when the Rangers selected scoring winger Kaapo Kakko, who is expected to pay immediate dividends with the club. Artemi Panarin (from Columbus) was the big free agent signing, and defenseman Jacob Trouba was acquired via a trade with Winnipeg.
Besides the 18-year-old Kakko, youth is on the Rangers’ side. Pavel Buchnevich scored 21 goals in 64 games, so a full-season’s production is expected out of him. In all, there are 13 players under 25 on the team’s opening night roster.
Watch the Blueshirts in the World’s Most Famous Arena – New York’s Madison Square Garden. The recently renovated Mecca of sports and entertainment has plenty of first-class ways for you to experience a game, as there are suites placed throughout the arena. Event Level Suites give you access to some of the best seats in the house, while the Lexus Level Suites provide the more traditional luxury box experience. The upper level is chock-full of lounges, clubs, and other suites that can entertain a variety of guests for any occasion that you can imagine.
The New York Rangers continue to contend with the rest of the NHL's elite. The Rangers return a strong young core, including former Harvard standout Jimmy Vesey. Vesey will continue to grow into one of the premiere skaters in the league. Surrounding Vesey will be veterans Matz Zuccarello, Ryan McDonagh, and Rick Nash. Youngsters Chris Kreider and JT Miller will be counted on this season for additional scoring. Goalie Henrik Lundqvist is perennially one of the league's best. In 2017-18, the expectations are once again Stanley Cup or bust. Head coach Alain Vigneault helped turned the Rangers into a defensive powerhouse, now they must evolve on the offensive end.
Madison Square Garden is one of the country’s biggest stages for sporting events. Luxury suites at Madison Square Garden are hard to come by and offer the ultimate VIP experience. Rangers’ suites will include private restrooms, HDTVs, Wi-Fi, interior and exterior seating, premium in-suite catering options and a dedicated suite attendant. With a sky box at a Rangers game you will also receive exclusive access to VIP clubs inside.
