After many years of alternating between being a punchline and a punching bag, the resurgence of the Knicks seems to be here. Julius Randle averaged career best numbers with more than 24 points and 10 rebounds a contest. R.J. Barrett enters his third year in the NBA looking every bit of the top-rated prospect from Toronto, who reclassified a year early to play for Duke. The reigning NBA Coach of the Year, Tom Thibodeau, added two huge pieces of the puzzle in the offseason in Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier. Former MVP Derrick Rose seems to have found his role in the rotation as well, making this perhaps the most exciting Knicks’ season since Patrick Ewing strolled the Garden floor. Speaking of which, they don’t call it “the world’s... MORE

Past Spotlights
With new leadership in place and blossoming stars on the court, the 2020-21 New York Knicks continue to trend upward in the Eastern Conference. Knicks coach, Tom Thibodeau, is pushing his team to end the longest playoff drought in the conference (7 consecutive seasons). Thibodeau will do so with the help of Leon Rose, who has taken over front office duties. RJ Barrett and Mitchell Robinson are forming into franchise cornerstones for the Knicks. Veterans like Julius Randle, Elfrid Payton, Nerlens Noel and Alec Burks help round out the roster. To add to the youth movement with Robinson and Barrett, the team selected Obi Toppin in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft.
You can catch the Knicks play at one of many premium seating and luxury suite options at Madison Square Garden. MSG has a variety of first-class seating options to see the Knicks. There are suites placed throughout the arena including the Lexus Level, Signature Level and Event Level. The Knicks’ Event Level Suites give you access to some of the best seats in the venue, while the Lexus Level Suites provide the more traditional luxury box experience directly above the lower bowl. The Signature Level is considered the upper level, which is chock-full of lounges and clubs that can entertain a variety of guests for any occasion. Most Knicks suites will accommodate 17-21 guests. MSG luxury boxes will feature balcony seating, premium in-suite catering options and upscale furnishing. All Knicks suite ticket holders have exclusive access to a VIP entry into MSG.
The Knicks overhauled their roster and, as a result, only six players return from last season’s squad. Those who remain will likely benefit from head coach David Fizdale’s reputation as a player-friendly coach. The difficult part will be for general manager Scott Perry to stay the course with the players he has, improve as a ballclub, and try to be players in the free agent class of 2020.
There’s plenty to watch this year – can Kevin Knox continue to develop as a player, and what about Dennis Smith Jr., who came over from Dallas in the Kristaps Porzingis trade? And will Duke’s R.J. Barrett pay dividends as the No. 3-overall pick in this year’s draft?
Watch these scenarios play out in the World’s Most Famous Arena – New York’s Madison Square Garden. The recently renovated Mecca of sports and entertainment has plenty of first-class ways for you to experience a game. There are suites placed throughout the arena. Event Level Suites give you access to some of the best seats in the house, while the Lexus Level Suites provide the more traditional luxury box experience. The upper level is chock-full of lounges, clubs, and other suites that can entertain a variety of guests for any occasion that you can imagine.
