Steelers Spotlight

Current NFL Season

Despite injuries at the quarterback and other key positions, the Steelers were able to make the playoffs in 2023 and extend head coach Mike Tomlin’s streak of having a record of .500 or better in each year of his head-coaching tenure. Tomlin was rewarded with a contract extension this offseason, and Pittsburgh will have a new look on offense with some sort of a time-share at quarterback between Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. Najee Harris returns at running back and is joined by veteran Cordarrelle Patterson, and George Pickens will lead the wide receiver group that has Van Jefferson as a new piece. Defensive stalwarts Cam Heyward, T.J. Watt, and Minkah Fitzpatrick are welcoming Patrick Queen from rival Baltimore and rookie Joey Porter Jr. is expected to start at cornerback, following in the footsteps of his famous father.

Past Spotlights

The Steelers haven’t had a losing record in 19 years, and that shouldn’t change soon. Young QB Kenny Pickett was much better in the second half of last season. The quarterback has help all around him on offense. Receivers Diontae Johnson, George Pickens, and newly signed Allen Robinson spread the field. Tight end Pat Freiermuth is an underrated pass catcher. And running back Najee Harris has had two 1,000-plus yard seasons to begin his career. With a defensive group that recently ranked top-10 in passing yards, Pittsburgh will improve and compete in 2023.

Newly named Acrisure Stadium has Club options for all your Steelers needs. The PNC Champions Club provides merchandise items, a fully-stocked bar with booth seating, and other amenities. The North Club Lounge, UPMC Club Lounge, and West Club Lounge provide similar access. For suites, Pittsburgh has Leased and Single Game spaces. Leased Suites accommodate up to 26 seats, including a merchandise discount, reserved parking, and dedicated attendant. Single Game Suites, in the form of Sideline and Party Suites, are for 15 or more guests. Catered food and beverage, exclusive restrooms, and a climate-controlled personal suite are all part of the package.

The Steelers entered the offseason with uncertainty at the quarterback position with the retirement of longtime star Ben Roethlisberger, but there’s now excitement after the team selected Kenny Pickett in the first round of the NFL Draft. Pickett remains in the Steel City after attending Pittsburgh and leading the Panthers to an ACC championship last year along with being a Heisman Trophy finalist. They also drafted wide receivers George Pickens and Calvin Austin III to help replace JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Washington. They also helped the offensive line in free agency and added linebacker Myles Jack.

Even with some new faces at key positions, expect the Steelers to be strong as they have been through the entire Mike Tomlin era. And come to Acrisure Stadium (formerly Heinz Field) with the best seats in the house this year and enjoy a premium experience. Sideline suites are private and can accommodate grounds of 15 or more. For larger groups, opt for a Party Suite that can hand up to 40 guests. Both come with catered food and beverage options, a climate-controlled environment (priceless for those rainy or snowy games), and a personal suite attendant.
