The Sacramento Kings are executing on their plan to get back to their royal status. The 2020-21 season kicked off with an extension to star, De’Aaron Fox. Followed by hiring a new GM, Monte McNair, and drafting Tyrese Haliburton as their first-round draft pick. With Fox locked up and Haliburton coming on to the scene, the Kings have formed a solid young core of players with Marvin Bagley III and Buddy Hield. A big free agent signing in Hassan Whiteside gives the veteran presence in the front court to compete on a nightly basis.
