Kings Spotlight

Current NHL Season

Los Angeles continues to inch towards a deep playoff run. Captain Anze Kopitar has led the Kings in points for six consecutive seasons. Last year, the longtime veteran had his best numbers since 2017-18. Kopitar has been the face of the franchise for over 17 years and continues to produce in the late stages of his career. To help offensively, LA traded for Pierre-Luc Dubois. The former Jet scored 27 goals last season and will take a heavy load off Kopitar. And with the growth of Adrian Kempe and Phillip Danault, the Kings have a well-rounded offense. Helped by a defense that ranked near the top half in goals against last campaign, Los Angeles is a sneaky contender this season.

Past Spotlights

The Kings worked through a rebuild and appear poised to be among the Western Conference’s top teams once again in the NHL, following Stanley Cup victories in 2012 and ’14. Veterans Anze Kopitar, Drew Doughty, and goalie Jonathan Quick remain and are joined by a young core of forwards (Arthur Kaliyev, Rasmus Kupari, and Quinton Byfield) who range from 20-22 years of age. Trading for forward Kevin Fiala was the big offseason move, as the 26-year-old had a career-high 85 points on 33 goals and 52 assists last year with Minnesota. The Kings took favored Edmonton to a Game 7 in the first round of last year’s playoffs and should improve from that positioning this year.

Premier seating at the Crypto.com Arena starts with a private entrance to the arena and access to the exclusive San Manuel Club. The VIP Ice Box Experience allows you to see the team from up-close while enjoying gourmet food and drinks. It gives you access to the Wells Fargo Chairmans Room and a visit from the LA Kings Ice Crew. Traditional suites are also available, which hold anywhere from 18-132 people.

The rebuilding is over; it’s time to win. Fierce words from team captain Anze Kopitar as the Kings look to end a three-year absence from the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Entering his 16th season, Kopitar could be reinvigorated on offense with the additions of forward Viktor Arvidsson and Phillip Danault from Nashville and Montreal, respectively. Kings mainstays Dustin Brown and Drew Doughty are back as well, while blossoming stars in Alex Iafallo and Adrian Kempe look to take another step in their development. The goaltending duo of Jonathan Quick and Cal Petersen could become more a split this season as the two-time Jennings Trophy winner Quick begins year number 15 in L.A. Taking in the action at one of the world’s most pristine venues only gets better with a Staples Center Premium Membership. Flexible plans start with 3-to-5 game packages and include preferred parking and entrance through the arena at a private space. Chic dining options can be found at the San Manuel Club while a fantastic view of the Los Angeles cityscape can be found at the Lexus Club. Premium food items and a full-service bar can be found inside the refreshed and revamped Centurion Suite by American Express for Platinum and Centurion members.
