Stadium Information

Smoothie King Center is a multi-purpose facility located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. Its location is within close proximity to downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter, connecting the venue to the heart of the city. In addition to hosting dozens of concerts throughout the year, the arena is home to the New Orleans Pelicans of the NBA. Smoothie King Center has hosted the NBA All-Star Game three times - 2008, 2014, and 2017, bringing the best talent the NBA has to offer to the Big Easy. The arena is adjacent to Mercedes-Benz Superdome, home to the NFL’s New Orleans Saints. Both the New Orleans Pelicans and New Orleans Saints are owned by the Benson family, initially purchased by the late Tom Benson. With one of the most creative and distinctive venue names in sports, Smoothie King Center is certainly not a name to forget. Founded in 1945 as a New Orleans-based smoothie company, Smoothie King Franchises now has over 775 units across the world. The company reached a 10 year sponsorship deal with the Pelicans that will carry through until 2024. With NBA basketball, the hottest names in the music industry, and other world class entertainment events, Smoothie King Center brings an extra jolt of energy to the Big Easy.
