Rogers Arena Event Planning Guide

Suite Experience Group provides access to private luxury suites at Rogers Arena. In this section we’ve compiled key considerations when planning your next group event in a suite:

SUITE CAPACITIES

There are several suite sizes available for single night rentals at Rogers Arena. Executive 200 Level Suites include 14 seats and the ability to purchase up to 6 standing room only (SRO) tickets for a maximum of 20 guests. For larger groups, the Executive Level Legends Suite, also located on the 200 Level, has a maximum capacity of 48 guests. Penthouse Suites located on the 500 Level can accommodate groups of 12-34 guests with the purchase of additional standing-room (SRO) tickets.

ROGERS ARENA SUITE CATERING

In-suite catering is available upon request for all suites at Rogers Arena. The menu includes a wide range of inspired cuisine and premium beverage selections provided by the in-house catering team and Executive Chef, Robert Bartley. On average, Suite Experience Group clients at the Rogers Center spend approximately $1,900 on in-suite catering. Suite Experience Group will provide the Rogers Arena catering menu and can advise on the appropriate budget and catering order for your group.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

There is limited space for meetings and conferences on game day. Some guests choose to give a short presentation in their suite before the game. HDMI cables can be provided upon request so that you can connect a laptop to the TVs in the suite.

DRESS CODE IN THE LUXURY SUITES

There is no formal dress code for the Executive Suites at Rogers Arena. All suites are climate-controlled and come equipped with a full coat closet.

ROGERS ARENA BAG POLICY

Purses or bags that are larger than 14” x 14” x 6” (35cm x 35cm x 15cm) will not be allowed in Rogers Arena for any game or event. Guests will be required to return their bags to their vehicles or another secure area prior to admittance to Rogers Arena.

CHILDREN'S TICKET POLICY

Children under 36″ tall do not require a ticket provided they remain on the lap of an accompanying adult for the entire event. Children over 36″ will require a separate ticket to enter the arena.

Booster seats are available at Guest Service Center which are located at Sections 104 (during hockey games only), 114, and 310, on a first come, first served basis. Strollers can also be stored here.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING

Rogers Arena is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The arena is easily accessible via public transportation and the closest SkyTrain station is Stadium/Chinatown. While there are various parking lots in the vicinity of the arena, public transportation (including ride-sharing) is strongly recommended).

STADIUM AND SUITE ACCESS

Suite guests have access to their suite 2 hours prior to puck-drop for a Canucks games. For concerts and other events, suite level typically opens at the same time as the general doors-open time. Elevators are located at Gates 1, 9 and 16 for guests to get to the suite levels.

DESIGNATED SUITE ENTRANCES

Executive Suite ticketholders are encouraged to use the VIP entrances at Gate 1 (off Dunsmuir Street Viaduct) or Gate 10 (off Expo Blvd.).

For guests with disabilities, Gate 16 (formerly Gate 5), located off Pat Quinn Way, is the designated pick-up and drop-off area.

General Entrances are located at Gate 2 (off Dunsmuir Street Viaduct), Gate 3 (up the stairs from Expo Blvd.), Gate 7 (up the stairs from Pacific Blvd.) or Gate 8 (off Georgia Street Viaduct). Suite ticketholders are welcome to use any entrance.

TOBACCO AND SMOKE-FREE POLICY

Rogers Arena is a smoke-free venue. In adherence to City of Vancouver health bylaws, we do not provide designated outdoor smoking areas, and there are no in-and-out privileges. If you are smoking prior to entering, please remain six meters away from the building. Any guest found smoking inside of Rogers Arena will be evicted. This includes e-cigarettes and personal vaporizers, and cannabis.

Stadium Information

Rogers Arena is multipurpose indoor arena in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Rogers Arena is located on the north side of Fall Creek in downtown Vancouver, adjacent to BC Place. At full capacity, the arena seats 19,000. The arena was formerly known as General Motors Place (1995-2010), before Rogers Communications secured the naming rights. Rogers Arena is home to the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, and it was briefly home to the NBA’s Vancouver Grizzlies before the franchise relocated to Memphis. In addition to ice hockey, Rogers Arena hosts numerous concerts and entertainment events annually. The arena is owned and operated by Canucks Sports & Entertainment, the same holding company that owns the Vancouver Canucks franchise. Rogers Arena is widely praised for comfortable seating and great sightlines.

Suite Information

Rogers Arena features two main luxury suite levels: The Executive 200 Level and Penthouse 500 Level. In total, 88 private luxury boxes occupy both levels. Executive 200 Level Suites encircle the lower seating bowl, bringing fans close to the ice. Most 200 Level Executive Suites include 14 tickets with the option to purchase up to 6 additional tickets, as needed. Penthouse Level Suites occupy the "upper" suite level at Rogers Arena. Suites on the Penthouse Level vary in size and configuration, but most suites will accommodate groups of 14-34. Rogers Arena luxury boxes include first class amenities such as VIP parking passes, upscale lounge seating, an in-suite bar and kitchenette, and access to a private VIP Entrance.
