How much do Capital One Arena suites cost?

Suite prices at Capital One Arena will vary widely by event. The average price of a private suite rental for a Washington Capitals (NHL) hockey game is $4,500. Suite rental prices for Washington Wizards (NBA) basketball games are slightly less expensive, ranging between $2,500-$3,500 for most regular season games. Weekday games and games against popular opponents will be priced at a premium, Capital One Arena also hosts a wide variety of concerts and family events; suite prices can range from $1,500 for select family events like Disney on Ice, to $10,000 for popular concerts.

Suite Experience Group helps customers plan corporate and personal events in luxury suites at Capital One Arena. In this section we’ve compiled considerations when planning your next group event at Capital One Arena.

NUMBER OF ATTENDEES IN A SUITE

Capital One Arena has three suite levels featuring a variety of suite sizes and configurations. The largest suite level is the Lexus Suite Level. Most suites on the Lexus Level will accommodate groups of 18. Kettler Loft Level Suites (2nd Level) are generally larger in size. Loft Suites will accommodate groups of 24-28. Lower Level Suites are similar in size to Lexus Level suites; these suites will accommodate groups of 12-18. 

BUDGET FOR A SUITE PURCHASE

Private luxury box rentals at the Capital One Arena will vary widely in price depending on event. The average price range for NHL and NBA suite rentals is $2,500-$4,500. Prices will vary based on opponent, day of the week, and suite level/size/location. Washington Capitals (NHL) suites are, on average, slightly more expensive than Washington Wizards (NBA) suites. Capital One Arena is also home to Georgetown Hoyas Men's NCAA basketball, Washington Mystics (WNBA) and Washington Valor (AFL). Suite prices for these events are generally cheaper, ranging from $1,000-$2,000. Suite rentals for concerts and other family events can range from $2,000-$10,000.

CAPITAL ONE ARENA CATERING

Catering for all Capital One Arena suites is provided by Aramark. Catering is available to preorder in advance of your event. Alternatively, you can order from your suite during the event. The Gameday Catering menu will be slightly more limited than the Advance Preorder Menu. 

The Capital One Arena suite catering menu offers extensive catering packages and a la carte options for your suite. Suite Experience Group will assist with selecting the appropriate package for your group based on group size and budget. 

ACCESS TO STADIUM CLUBS

All luxury suite ticketholders will have access to the PwC Club located on the Club Level Concourse. The PwC Club is a high-end restaurant and cash bar. The PwC Club opens 90 minutes prior to sporting events and 1 hour prior to concerts. This is a great spot to rendezvous with your group prior to entering the suite.

DRESS CODE IN THE LUXURY SUITES

There is no dress code for luxury suites at Capital One Arena. Corporate groups will usually be dressed in business casual attire; however, it is not uncommon for patrons to wear jeans with a shirt or jersey of their favorite team.

CHILD TICKET POLICY

Children under the age of 3 will not require a suite ticket. 

TRANSPORTATION TO THE ARENA

Capital One Arena is located at 601 F Street NW in Washington D.C. Most suites will come with an allotment of VIP Parking Passes (located in the Lexus Garage), however, the arena is extremely accessible via public transportation including the metro:

The Gallery Place-Chinatown metro station is located underneath Capital One Arena. The Red, Yellow, and Green lines all stop at this station.

Other nearby metro stations include: Judiciary Square (Red), Metro Center (Red, Orange, Silver, Blue), and Archives-Navy Memorial Penn Quarter (Green, Yellow).

The metro runs until 11:30 PM Monday-Thursday, 1 AM Friday-Saturday, and 11 PM on Sunday.

PARKING

Luxury boxes at Capital One Arena will come with an allotment of VIP parking passes. VIP parking is located in the Lexus Garage attached to the arena.

WILL-CALL

The executive suites will-call window is located next to the box office at the main F Street Entrance. Window #1 will open 90 minutes prior to the event.

ARENA ENTRY / BAG POLICY

Capital One Arena entrances open 90 minutes prior to sporting events and 1 hour prior to concerts. All fans entering Capital One Arena will go through a metal detector screening. Bags larger than 14”x14”x6” will are not permitted.

Stadium Information

Capital One Arena, formerly known as the Verizon Center, is home to both the Washington Wizards (NBA) and Washington Capitals (NHL). Built in 1997, Capital One Arena is owned by Monumental Sports & Entertainment. Capital One arena is one of the busiest multipurpose indoor arenas in the US, hosting over 200 events per year. In addition to professional basketball and hockey, Capital One Arena hosts Georgetown Hoyas NCAA basketball games, Washington Mystics WNBA games, Washington Valor AFL games, concerts, and family-focused events like Disney on Ice and Cirque du Soleil. 

Suite Information

Capital One Arena features three suites levels comprised of 102 private luxury boxes. As Washington DC's primary entertainment venue, Capital One Arena was designed with a wide variety of spaces for corporate entertainment and group events. The largest suite level at Capital One Arena is the Lexus Suite Level (3rd Level), located below the upper bowl and wrapping around most of the arena. In total, there are 60 private suites on the Lexus Level, most of which accommodate groups of 18-24 guests. Located one level closer to the floor is the Kettler Loft Suite Level (2nd Level), formerly known as the Club Suite Level. There are 16 private suites on the Kettler Loft Level. Loft Level Suites are generally larger is size. Notably, the Kettler Loft Suite Level features four corner-located suites that can accommodate groups of 28+. The final suite level at Capital One arena is the Lower Level (1st Level); this suite level sits closest to the floor and features 26 total suites arranged along each sideline. Lower Level suites are typically the most expensive single event rental spaces due to their proximity to the floor. All suite catering for Capital One Arena is handled by Aramark.
