Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Event Planning Guide

In this section we’ve compiled key considerations when planning your next group event in a suite at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum:

GROUP SIZE AND NUMBER OF ATTENDEES IN A SUITE

This past season, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum underwent massive renovations to update the stadium and build the brand-new Scholarship Tower.  This multi-level structure on the Rams sideline will offer new suite options – Founder’s Suites and Traditional Suites. The Founder’s Suites will accommodate groups of 28-40 and the Traditional suites will accommodate groups of 20.  Prior to 2019, the only suite option was the Field Suites located in the East end zone on field level. Being the only suite option, these suites were not made available for public purchase. This season, the Rams have made limited Field Suite inventory available.

BUDGET FOR A SUITE PURCHASE

Suite prices vary widely at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum depending on event and suite type. Single-game suite rentals for Rams home games typically cost between $15,000-$30,000 depending on the opponent and suite type.

Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Overview

General Information

  • Date Opened: May 1, 1923
  • Max Capacity: 78,500

Stadium Information

The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is one of the oldest sporting venues in the country. Built in 1923, the LA Coliseum has hosted two Summer Olympics (1932, 1984) and is scheduled to host a third in 2028. The Coliseum serves as the home of the University of Southern California's (USC) football team. The Coliseum is also the temporary home of the NFL's Los Angeles Rams as they build a new stadium in Englewood (Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park). At full capacity, the Coliseum could seat over 100,000 fans; however, seating has been reduced in various renovation projects since the 1980's. It now seats ~78,000 at full capacity.

Suite Information

In 2018, the University of Southern California funded a major renovation to reconfigure seating in the Coliseum and add new premium spaces. The most significant change was the construction of the Scholarship Tower on the South side of the stadium that will replace the old concourse and press box. The brand-new Scholarship Tower will house 5 levels of premium seating and clubs. The Tower will also feature Loge Boxes and a Party Deck on the top level. Level 2 and Level 3 of the Tower consist of Founder's Suites. These suites are the most luxurious suite offering at the venue. Founder's Suites come with private stadium/suite level access and access to the Bashor Founder's Club. Level 4 of the Tower features Club seating while Level 5 features 22 Traditional Suites. Finally, the Coliseum offers Field Suites located on event-level behind the East Endzone. Field Suites put fans close to the action, but notably do not have traditional stadium-style seating. Rather, suites are grouped in semi-permanent structures featuring an assortment of barstool seating at counters and high-top tables. Most suites at the LA Coliseum will come with 28 tickets and 6 VIP parking passes.
