Citi Field Event Planning Guide

Suite Experience Group helps customers all over the world to plan corporate and personal events at Citi Field and many other stadiums. In this section we’ve compiled the key considerations when planning an event at Citi Field.

Citi Field offers suites on two different levels. 10 Sterling Suites are located twenty rows from the field behind home plate on The Sterling Level. These suites all come standard with 22 tickets, and have the flexibility to hold up to 32 guests with the purchase of 10 standing room only tickets. The majority of Citi Field’s suites are located on The Porsche Level (formerly named The Empire Level) and have multiple configurations and capacities. The capacity of most suites is 19, with the ability to increase the maximum capacity to 29 by purchasing standing room only passes.

The price of a suite at Citi Field varies by day of the week and opponent. The cost of a typical game is $5,000 which increases for Opening Day, premium opponents and the post season.

In suite catering is available in all of Citi Field’s suites and you have full control over the menu and budget. The menu offers various packages and a la carte items, and it is typical to spend around $1,500 on catering for a Met game. The key factors are the size of your group, amount of alcohol being consumed and the type of food you order (ball park favorites versus higher end fare).

Fans with suite tickets have access to all of the following Citi Field Clubs:

Delta Sky360 Club - Located on the Sterling Level, The DeltaSky360 Club spans dugout to dugout and offers fans a full service restaurant, grab and go concessions which feature some of the stadiums most popular items, 2 full service bars, private restrooms and views into both team’s underground batting cages.

Foxwoods Club - Located behind home plate on the Excelsior Level, The Foxwoods Club is Citi Field’s largest club and offers fans panoramic views of Flushing Meadows Corona Park and The World’s Fair Unisphere. The club features upscale concessions, a full bar and private restrooms.

Porsche Grille - Located in the left field corner of the Excelsior Level, The Porsche Grille offers unique views of the game from its glass enclosure. The Porsche Grille is a full service restaurant with a full bar and private restrooms. Reservations are recommended.

Promenade Club - Located behind home plate on the promenade level, The Promenade Club offers fans a full bar private restrooms.

There is no right answer here, and it ultimately boils down to what others in your group will be wearing. If it’s a corporate event, many guests will likely be dressed in business casual attire. However, it’s not uncommon for guests to wear jerseys of their favorite player, jeans, or even shorts on a hot day. The luxury suites at Citi Field are climate controlled and have a coat closet for storage.

Suites at Citi Field come with VIP parking passes to the lot located at 32-72 126th Street, Corona, NY 11368. Parking lots open 3 hours prior to the start of the game.

Citi Field is also easily accessible via The Long Island Railroad and 7 subway line.

All suite ticket holders are welcome to enter Citi Field through any gate, but have VIP access via The Hodges and Seaver VIP gates located on the 1st and 3rd base sides of Citi Field.

All fans must pass through a metal detector prior to entering Citi Field, and the following items are prohibited: any items larger than 16" x 16 x 8"; hard-sided coolers; all metal cans (including sunscreen aerosol cans); glass bottles; open containers; commercial grade audio, video and photographic equipment; alcoholic beverages; illegal substances; laser pointers; noisemaking devices; fireworks, animals (except for assistive purposes); weapons and any items of similar nature.
