Vancouver is trending in the right direction in 2023-24. The Canucks have a plethora of options on offense. Youngster Elias Pettersson is already a monster. The center had a career-high 39 goals, 63 assists, and 102 points in 2022-23. It’s only a matter of time before Pettersson completely breaks out and cements himself as one of the best in the league. J.T. Miller and Andrei Kuuzmenko both tallied over 70 assists last season with 30+ goals and assists respectively. On defense, Vancouver has an absolute stud too. Quinn Hughes just became the first defenseman in 29 years to have 60 or more assists in consecutive seasons. Hughes also reached 200 career assists last campaign, the fastest defender to ever hit the mark. With the off-season additions of Pius Suter, Teddy Blueger, Carson Soucy, among others, the Canucks should contend for the postseason in 2023-24.
