Philadelphia is inching towards its first postseason appearance since 2019-2020. The Flyers have a mix of tenured veterans and youth. Seven-year winger Travis Konecny led the team in points last year. He tallied 61 points while scoring a career-high 31 goals. Owen Tippett posted career-bests in 2022-23 as well, putting up 27 goals and 22 assists. And star center Sean Couturier returns after missing almost two straight seasons. When healthy, Couturier has regularly been one of Philadelphia’s best. On the younger side, Joel Farabee, Bobby Brink, Egor Zamula, and Cam York are just some of the players getting impact minutes. As the group continues to progress, so will the Flyers’ chances. Philadelphia may still be a year or two away, but the foundation is already formed.
