A Conference Finals loss in 2022-23 prevented Dallas from reaching the Stanley Cup Finals for the second time in five years. Now, the team is gearing up for another deep playoff run. Last season, Dallas' offense shined, ranking seventh in the NHL in goals. The catalyst was Jason Robertson, who exploded onto the scene with 109 points. Even though they were a playoff team, Dallas finished last season at the bottom of the NHL in scoring. In order to boost the goal total, the Stars signed free agents Joe Pavelski and Corey Perry. Having Miro Heiskanen build off a successful rookie season should help, and the potential of the core of Alexander Radulov, Tyler Seguin, and Jamie Benn is still there. Ben Bishop and Anton Khudobin still provide a solid one-two punch in goal, but they’ll hope for a little more help on the offensive side this year.
