The Cowboys will be looking to reverse a trend in the NFC East that has gone on for 20 years now. There hasn’t been a back-to-back division winner since 2004. Dallas, winners of the NFC East a year ago, will be the latest team to try and defend its crown. After a dominant regular season at home, last season ended with a disappointing performance on offense and defense against Green Bay in the first round of the playoffs. Dallas appears to be sticking with the formula that’s gotten them this far, recording 12-5 records in each of the past three seasons: Dak Prescott at QB, CeeDee Lamb as the star wide receiver, and defensive stars all over the field in DeMarcus Lawrence, Micah Parsons, and Trevon Diggs. Ezekiel Elliott also returns to the fold to help replace Tony Pollard at running back.
