Ravens Spotlight

Current NFL Season

The Baltimore Ravens look like Super Bowl contenders again in 2020. The Ravens are led by their quarterback, Lamar Jackson, who can beat teams with his legs as much as his arm. Jackson was named the 2019 NFL MVP, making him the second unanimous MVP in NFL history. Jackson will be the focal point to the Ravens offense, but a supporting cast of Mark Ingram, Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews makes the Ravens one of the best offensive team in the league. On top of that, they drafted running back J.K. Dobbins in the second round of the 2020 draft.

As always though the Ravens are a defensive minded team. A trade with the Jaguars brings over DE Calais Campbell. They signed Derek Wolfe, and, in the draft, they used their first-round pick on linebacker Patrick Queen. In addition to these guys, let us not forget about their stars: Matt Judon, Marcus Peters, Marlon Humphrey, and Earl... MORE

Past Spotlights

An injury to longtime quarterback Joe Flacco ushered in the Lamar Jackson era in Baltimore, with outstanding results.

Jackson took over in Week 11 against Cincinnati with the Ravens holding a 4-5 record and head coach John Harbaugh reportedly on shaky ground. However, Jackson led Baltimore to victories in six of their final seven regular season contests – with the only loss being in overtime at Kansas City.

The Ravens won the AFC North in the final week of the season, but they lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Los Angeles Chargers, 23-17.

In the offseason, Harbaugh’s future was solidified with a four-year contract. Jackson is now the man under center, as the Ravens traded Flacco to Denver. Jackson was also given a weapon on offense in the form of Oklahoma wide receiver Marquise Brown, who the Ravens selected with the 25th pick in the NFL Draft.

The biggest offseason change for the Ravens was in the front office, as Ozzie Newsome – the only GM Baltimore has ever had – retired, with Eric DeCosta taking the helm. DeCosta served under Newsome for the past 20 years as first the Director of College Scouting and then Assistant General Manager.

This season will be a great time to check out the explosive Ravens offense in a luxury suite at M&T Bank Stadium. The suites and club level are getting a $24-million refurbishment this offseason. Improvements will include a modernized interior, new televisions, a full-size refrigerator with freezer space, private restroom upgrades, new kitchen cabinets, mirrored backsplashes, and shelving.

AFC North contests against Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Cincinnati are always intense. Baltimore will play each of those teams both home and away in 2019. Other opponents coming to M&T Bank Stadium will be Arizona, New England (Sunday night game), Houston, San Francisco, and the New York Jets. Road battles will take place in Miami, Kansas City, Seattle, the Los Angeles Rams (Monday night game), and Buffalo.

The Baltimore Ravens are ready to put an end to their playoff drought and get back into the post-season for the first in three years. To boost their offense, the Baltimore Ravens added two receivers in free agency, Michael Crabtree and Josh Brown. With a few new faces to throw to, Joe Flacco could be lined up for a bounce back year. Alex Collins has taken over running back duties for head coach John Harbaugh and exceeded expectations last season.
On defense, the Ravens first-round draft pick in 2017, Marlin Humphrey, looks to be a franchise cornerstone. With Humphrey in the secondary, the Ravens will have Eric Weddle, Tony Jefferson and Jimmy Smith. New defensive coordinator, Don Martindale, will lean heavily on his linebackers, Terrell Suggs and Matt Judon.
Baltimore Ravens suites at M&T Bank Stadium will provide fans the ultimate VIP experience. Ravens have a choice between two suite levels at M&T Bank Stadium. The 300 Suite Level will be closer to the field but stacked right above that level is the 400 Suite Level. Not a big difference in terms of your vantage point to the field. Ravens suites will include 20-30 tickets and 4 VIP parking passes to any Ravens game. Luxury boxes can be catered in advance at an additional cost. Each Ravens suite will feature private restrooms, a climate-controlled environment, HDTVs and premium seating.
