Indiana’s roster moves in the past two years have set up an exciting future for the Pacers. It all starts with point guard Tyrese Haliburton who became a superstar last campaign. In 56 games, the playmaker averaged over 20 points and more than 10 assists in 2022-23. He’s an effective three-point shooter at 40% and grabs over 1.5 steals a game. Bennedict Mathurin is another piece the Pacers have at their disposal. Mathurin, in his second year, is joined by rookie Jarace Walker as young impacters behind Haliburton. Mathurin averaged almost 17 points last campaign while Walker put up 11.2 points and 6.8 rebounds at Houston. Indiana may be just one season away from putting it all together.
