Cardinals Spotlight

Current MLB Season

The Cardinals returned to the playoffs in 2019 after a three-year absence and reached the NLCS for the first time since 2014.

St. Louis lost slugger Marcell Ozuna, but Matt Carpenter has vowed to bounce back from a disappointing campaign last year. Harrison Bader is also hoping to lockdown the centerfield spot, while ageless Yadier Molina returns for another season at catcher.

Carlos Martinez is attempting to try and go from closer to starter, much like Adam Wainright did to much success over a decade ago. Jack Flaherty and Miles Mikolas also return at the top of the rotation.

The Cardinals put forth a multimillion-dollar upgrade to their Party Suites at Busch Stadium in time for the 2020 season. Included in the additions are a full-service bar with a personal bartender in each suite. A buffet serving ballpark favorites will continue to be a perk of the Party... MORE

Past Spotlights

The 2019 St. Louis Cardinals became Central Division favorites as soon as they landed MLB All-Star Paul Goldschmidt in a trade with the Diamondbacks. Goldschmidt is the big bat in the lineup the Cardinals felt they were missing and will pair up perfectly with Marcell Ozuna. Thanks to strong leadership from veterans such as Matt Carpenter, Yadier Molina and Adam Wainwright, the Cardinals always find themselves in the mix for the playoffs. 2019, Should be no different. The manager switch from Mike Matheny to Mike Shildt seems to be the perfect fit.

Filling out the 2019 Cardinals’ lineup will be: Paul DeJong, Dexter Fowler, Kolten Wong, Harrison Bader, Jose Martinez and Tyler O’Neill. With Wainwright solidifying himself in the bullpen with newly acquired Andrew Miller, the Cardinals pitching rotation will be led by Miles Mikolas, Jack Flaherty, Michael Wacha and Carlos Martinez.

The Cardinals will play half of their games at one of the most treasured venues in baseball, Busch Stadium. Cardinals fans flock to Busch Stadium, nestled right in the middle of Ballpark Village. Suites for St. Louis Cardinals games offer the best experience at Busch Stadium. Cardinals suites will accommodate 18 – 24 guests and provide them with VIP parking and plenty of in-suite catering options to choose from. The price of a Cardinals suite will vary by the game but generally range from $3,000 - $6,000 per game. Most Cardinals suites will be located from first to third base offering amazing views of the game and St. Louis skyline.

The St. Louis Cardinals enter 2018 looking to return to the postseason for the first time since 2015. In the off-season the Cardinals traded for slugger Marcell Ozuna from the Miami Marlins, which should solidify the middle of the lineup. Ozuna, a two-time All-Star, hit .312 with 37 home runs and 124 RBI’s last season in Miami. His ability to hit for average and power will be a welcomed addition to the St. Louis lineup.

Ozuna joins Tommy Pham and Dexter Fowler in a much improved Cardinals outfield. Also, infielders Jedd Gyorko, Paul DeJong, and Matt Carpenter all have 20+ home run potential. Together the Cardinals have a well balanced and powerful lineup for 2018. And of course, Yadier Molina has been a consistent force for the Cardinals behind the plate. His presence and leadership is always essential to the Cardinals’ success.

In the rotation, Carlos Martinez has fully established himself as the ace of this pitching staff. Martinez is a two-time All-Star with a nasty curveball and a dominant fastball that can come close to reaching triple digits. Mike Matheny will rely upon bounceback seasons from starting pitchers Adam Wainwright and Michael Wacha. As one of the Cardinals more intriguing young pitchers, 24-year old Luke Weaver will look to expand upon his success from last season.
