The Dodgers have won 100 or more games in three consecutive seasons. Their off-season acquisitions make it seem almost certain that that will continue. Los Angeles landed Japanese superstars Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto over the winter. Although Ohtani won’t pitch this year, his bat will be constant. Yamamoto dominated on the mound in Japan and will continue to do so in America. An LA lineup with Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, and Mookie Betts is scary enough. But a rotation including Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow, and Walker Buehler is frightening. Los Angeles is, rightfully so, World Series favorites.
