Kauffman Stadium Event Planning Guide

Catering

Kansas City Royals luxury suites can be catered in advance at an additional cost. Royals suite guests can pre-order at their discretion from the Kauffman Stadium suite menu. Most Royals luxury boxes do not include catering. On average, clients spend about $90 per person on food and alcohol.

Parking and Transportation

Most Royals luxury suites will include VIP parking passes. Royals suite parking passes are most likely valid in the Premium Lot(Lot M). For quickest entry into Lot M, access it from Royals Way. General parking is available for $20 for cars and motorcycles. Bus and RV parking will be in Lot L or Lot... MORE

Budget

It's important to know catering and the Royals suite rental are handled separately. A Royals suite rental could range from $2,500-$5,000 on average and payment will be due the day of purchase. For catering, you won't pay for this until day of the event and it's best to budget $90-$100 per person.

Dress Code

In a Royals luxury box, there is no strict dress code when attending a Royals game at Kauffman Stadium. Business casual is most common but ultimately, we recommend dressing based on the purpose of the event. Royals fan gear like jerseys, shirts and hats are perfectly acceptable.

Business Amenities

The luxury suites at Kauffman Stadium are the ideal setting to host your next corporate or client entertainment event. The luxury suites feature spacious lounge area for socializing and your suite attendant will cater to your every need so that you can relax and focus on your employees and clients.

This year no bags will be allowed inside Kauffman Stadium. This includes anyone with a KC Royals suite ticket. Outside food is not permitted into the ballpark. Guests are allowed to bring in 1 unopened water or sports drink.

Royals Spotlight

Current MLB Season

For the first time since 2015, Kansas City has a legit shot at making the postseason. The Royals have a dynamic offense centered around shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. He had 30 homers, nearly 100 RBI, and 49 stolen bases in 2023. The youngster has help in the lineup with infielders Vinnie Pasquantino and Maikel Garcia, along with catcher Salvador Perez. The off-season acquisitions of Hunter Renfroe and Adam Frazier make KC even more dynamic. And, for pitching, the Royals signed starters Seth Lugo and Michael Wacha. The two join Cole Ragans and Brady Singer, forming a strong group. Kansas City can make noise in 2024.

Kauffman Stadium has fantastic premium seating options. The CommunityAmerica Crown Club, behind home plate, is the best luxury experience. Complimentary fine dining and beverages, in-seat service, and climate-controlled atmospheres are included. Full season prices cost... MORE

Past Spotlights

The Royals went down nearly as fast as they rose when they won the AL pennant in 2014 and the World Series in 2015, but there are reasons to be excited going into 2022. Bobby Witt Jr., one of the best prospects in all of baseball, is a 20-20 candidate in his first year, and Zack Grienke returns to the team where he won a Cy Young Award. The young offense was also quite good defensively, when they finished fourth in the American League in defense. Veteran Carlos Santana joins Salvador Perez and a young lineup featuring Adalberto Mondesi, Andrew Benintendi, and Michael A. Taylor. Grienke is followed in the rotation by Brad Keller and Kris Bubic, who was lights out last September.

There are plenty of great premium seating options at Kaufmann Stadium. The CommunityAmerica Crown Club is located directly behind home plate, and you get access to the private lounge for complimentary dining and beverage options prior to the game, along with in-seat wait service once the game starts. The Konica Minolta Diamond Club puts you in padded, theater-style chairs in a climate-controlled setting above home plate. Traditional suites, available from areas next to the dugout to around the field’s upper levels, give you plenty of room to enjoy the game with your group in a luxury setting.

With an exciting and young lineup, Kauffman Stadium will be buzzing with Kansas City Royals fans. The 2021 Royals made a couple of big moves in the offseason including signing free agent Michael A. Taylor and trading for Andrew Benintendi. Benintendi comes over from the Red Sox and will get a fresh start in the Royals outfield. The Royals lineup in 2021 will feature Whit Merrifield, Aldaberto Mondesi, Salvador Perez and Jorge Soler.

Royals manager, Mike Matheny, will have a pitching rotation led by Brad Keller and newly acquired, Mike Minor. While the Royals pitching staff is young, there is a lot of promise in guys like Keller, Kris Bubic and Brady Singer.

There are plenty of great premium seating options at “The K,” however. The Crown Club is located directly behind home plate, and you get access to the private lounge for complimentary dining and beverage options prior to the game, along with in-seat wait service once the game starts. The Konica Minolta Diamond Club puts you in padded, theater-style chairs in a climate-controlled setting above home plate.

Royals suites are located above the lower bowl and provide guests with plenty of room to enjoy the game in a luxury setting. The Royals Dugout Suites are extremely popular as they are located at field level, giving fans access to some of the best views of the game and all the first-class amenities you would want in a suite. The George Brett Lounge, located on the third base side of the Loge level, is a great option if you are interested in watching the game in a more social setting, and upscale food, soft drinks, and draft beer is all included in the price.
