It's important to know catering and the Royals suite rental are handled separately. A Royals suite rental could range from $2,500-$5,000 on average and payment will be due the day of purchase. For catering, you won't pay for this until day of the event and it's best to budget $90-$100 per person.

Royals Spotlight

Current MLB Season

With an exciting and young lineup, Kauffman Stadium will be buzzing with Kansas City Royals fans. The 2021 Royals made a couple of big moves in the offseason including signing free agent Michael A. Taylor and trading for Andrew Benintendi. Benintendi comes over from the Red Sox and will get a fresh start in the Royals outfield. The Royals lineup in 2021 will feature Whit Merrifield, Aldaberto Mondesi, Salvador Perez and Jorge Soler.

Royals manager, Mike Matheny, will have a pitching rotation led by Brad Keller and newly acquired, Mike Minor. While the Royals pitching staff is young, there is a lot of promise in guys like Keller, Kris Bubic and Brady Singer.

Past Spotlights

With the 2015 World Series title deep in the rear-view mirror, the Royals have new ownership and on-field leadership. John Sherman bought the team from David Glass, and former St. Louis Cardinals skipper Mike Matheny takes over the managerial role. Matheny never had a losing season with the Cards.

Offensively, the club should benefit from catcher Salvador Perez’s  return, who missed most of last season with an elbow injury. Jorge Soler and Hunter Dozier also made strides in 2019. On the pitching front, it might not be until 2021 that the big league club can reap the benefits of 23-year-olds Brady Singer, Jackson Kowar, and Daniel Lynch. Brad Keller and Mike Montgomery show some promise on the mound this season.

During Sherman’s introductory press conference, he addressed rumors that the team will move on from Kauffman Stadium when the lease expires in 2031 by saying that they would explore all options and do what’s best for the club.

There are plenty of great premium seating options at “The K,” however. The Crown Club is located directly behind home plate, and you get access to the private lounge for complimentary dining and beverage options prior to the game, along with in-seat wait service once the game starts. The Konica Minolta Diamond Club puts you in padded, theater-style chairs in a climate-controlled setting above home plate.

Traditional suites, available from areas next to the dugout to around the field’s upper levels, give you plenty of room to enjoy the game with your group in a luxury setting. Look into the George Brett Lounge, located on the third base side of the Loge level, if you’re interested in watching the game in a more social setting, and upscale food, soft drinks, and draft beer is all included in the price.

The 2019 Kansas City Royals know all signs trend upwards for their 2019 outlook. The Royals are putting last season behind them and focusing on the positives that came out of it. That includes the progression of young star Adalberto Mondesi. Mondesi can attack opposing teams with both power and speed giving the Royals a potent weapon in their lineup. Another key player that has Royals fans excited is pitcher Brad Keller. Keller will look to build upon his rookie season and become a fixture in the Royals rotation for years to come.

A key offseason addition was outfielder Billy Hamilton. Hamilton is arguably the fastest man in baseball and is one of the most talented defensive players in all of baseball. The Royals lineup will be built around their stars: Whit Merrifield, Salvador Perez, Alex Gordon and Jorge Soler. The rebuild in Kansas City continues in 2019 but with some strong years from their key players, the Royals could surprise people in the AL Central division.

The Royals pitching staff will be focused around their young stars Jakob Junis and Brad Keller. Danny Duffy has a down year in 2018 but a bounce back in 2019 could help solidify this pitching rotation. The Royals signed closer Brad Boxberger and Drew Storen in the offseason to help strengthen their bullpen.

The waterfalls at Kauffman Stadium are a sight to see but it’s the Royals’ luxury suite options where people want to be. Signature suites at Kauffman Stadium wrap the infield with Dugout suites down each baseline. Most Royals suites will accommodate 18 – 20 guests. If you have a larger group than that, the popular Dugout suites is where you’ll want to be. Pricing for a suite at a Royals game could range from $2,000 - $4,000 for the Signature Level and then $3,500 - $8,000 for Dugout suites. Along with VIP parking and a suite attendant, fans will have the opportunity to have their suites fully catered from the Kauffman Stadium catering department.
