Senators Spotlight

Current NHL Season

Ottawa has a playoff-caliber roster, one that should help break its six year postseason drought. The offense is built around a young core. Tim Stutzle dominated in his third season, racking up 90 points. The winger, at just 21 years old, is already a breakout star. Brady Tkachuk is another strong piece for Ottawa, dropping 35 goals and 48 assists last year. And the Senators have plenty of veterans to support too, including right winger Claude Giroux. On defense, the combination of Jake Sanderson, Jakob Chychrun, and Thomas Chabot are a tough bunch to deal with. The Senators have the talent to make noise late in the season. Now, it’s about putting it all together.

Canadian Tire Centre has perfect premium seating for fans. Club Seats in Ottawa provide the best seats in the house. Access to fine dining, preferred parking, easy access, valet service, and more are all included.... MORE

Past Spotlights

The Senators went into the offseason looking to establish a clear offensive core, and they have done so with Claude Giroux, the savvy 34-year-old veteran, along with 24-year-old Alex DeBrincat and Tim Stutzle, 20. After Giroux and DeBrincat were acquired, the team signed Stutzle to an eight-year extension prior to training camp. The team is also hoping for more production on defense to go with Thomas Chabot, who has 188 points in 313 games going into this season. Cam Talbot was also brought in from Minnesota to play in goal, and his 2.76 goals-against average would be a big improvement since the team has given up the fifth-most number of goals in the NHL over the past three seasons.

There are several premium-seating options at the Canadian Tire Centre, starting with taking in a game from The Loft. This large suite on the 200 level comes with all-you-can-eat food options and is perfect for smaller groups (tickets come in batches of four). Party Deck Suites in the 400 level are super-sized and can hold anywhere from 12 up to 60, 90, and even 120 people. Traditional suites in the 100 and 200 levels hold between 12 and 24, have private restrooms, and have an in-suite catering menu available from an in-house chef.

Mired in their longest playoff drought since originally joining the league back in 1993, how quickly Ottawa’s playoff absence ends hinges on the production of its young and ultra-talented front line. Brady Tkachuk has become the face of the franchise after receiving the captain’s letter and signing a seven-year, $57.5 million dollar deal. The 22-year-old has shown tremendous promise so far by recording 129 points in just 205 games. Tkachuk is joined by fellow 22-year-old forward Josh Norris and 23-year-old Drake Batherson on the top line. The duo combined for 69 points in last year’s shortened season. Goaltending duties are up for grabs as Matt Murray should lockdown the starting spot, but could be pushed by both Anton Forsberg and Filip Gustavsson for time in the crease. There’s no better way to watch the Sens than from the Canadian Bell Centre’s newest, most prestigious spot, Club Bell. Valet parking, a dedicated entrance, and an all-inclusive food and beverage package is accompanied by first-class service. Need a space for your business meeting or social outing? The newly-renovated Brookfield Lounge provides a stacked pre-game buffet before the puck drops from your seats in the first eight rows of center ice. Bar Top Loges and VIP comfortable leather/vinyl seats are both available on the Molson Canadian Fan Deck, equipped with an interactive bar to enhance your social experience.
