Canadiens Spotlight

Current NHL Season

The most decorated franchise in all of hockey nearly recaptured the magic of yesteryear with a Cinderella run to the Stanley Cup Final last season. Whether or not the glass slipper fits again hinges on the health of Montreal’s superstar goaltender. Carey Price powered through injury to get the Canadiens within three wins of their 25th Cup and underwent arthroscopic surgery for a torn meniscus in his knee during the offseason. In front of whomever is minding the net, Nick Suzuki is set to make the leap as he enters his third year in the NHL. Tyler Toffoli joins Suzuki on the first line following perhaps the best season in the league, five of his 28 goals were game-winners. Jonathan Drouin returns to the lineup and Christian Dvorak, recently acquired from Arizona, should provide additional offensive... MORE

Past Spotlights

The Habs have not won a playoff series in the past four seasons, but a boatload of young talent is expected to pay dividends this season for Montreal under head coach Claude Julien.

The names expected to take a step up this season include Max Domi, Tomas Tatar, Jonathan Drouin, Brendan Gallagher, and Phillip Danault. An increase in scoring will help the defense and longtime goaltender Carey Price, who would love nothing more than capping his stellar career by bringing the Stanley Cup home to Canada. Defenseman Shea Weber is adept at putting up points while anchoring the blue line.

One of the most historic franchises in the NHL provides you with several amazing in-game premium experiences at the Bell Centre. The Locker Room Experience gives you access to the President’s private suite (where food and an open bar await), which is located next to the Habs’ dressing room. Watch them go through the tunnel to the take the ice, then settle into your seats directly behind the team’s bench.

For a bird’s eye view, select the Renaissance Montreal Loft. This package gets you 20 tickets, hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, a dedicated suite attendant, and a private entrance. For a more intimate evening, the Ultimate Experience provides you with two tickets in the Platinum Level, dinner at La Mise au Jeu restaurant, access to a private lounge, a visit to the press area, and access to the press conference and locker room after the game.

The Montreal Canadiens showed why they are one of the most elite NHL franchises last season, showing poise and bouncing back from a disappointing 2015-16 season to win the Atlantic Division in 2016-17. Leading the way was top scorer and captain Max Pacioretty, who finished the season with 67 points. Alex Galchenyuk had another productive year, adding 44 points despite playing in just 61 games. All-Star defenseman Shea Weber had a commanding blueline presence, contributing to a +20 plus/minus last season. Winger Brendan Gallagher, despite his small stature, remains the heart and soul of this team. The Canadiens will look to again advance into the playoffs, which will again depend heavily on the health of All-Star goalie Carey Price.

As the most decorated franchise in the NHL with a whopping total of 24 Stanley Cups, the Canadiens owe part of their success to their loyal fanbase. The Canadiens call the Bell Centre home where they only lost 12 regular season games all year last season. The Bell Centre remains one of the toughest places to play in the National Hockey League. The most common Canadiens suite will accommodate a group of 12 but larger suites are available. With a Bell Centre suite, guests receive VIP parking, private entry and exclusive access to the arena’s private bars. Premium in-suite catering options are available in advance and during the game in any Canadiens suite. A skybox is the perfect place to enjoy the raucous Bell Center environment as the Canadiens embark on their Stanley Cup quest.
