Panthers Spotlight

Current NHL Season

Florida was the most exciting story of last season, making an improbable run to the NHL Finals as the eight seed. On route to the appearance, the Panthers knocked off three dominant forces, including the Bruins and a sweep of the Hurricanes. The magic may have ran out last postseason, but 2023-24 should be another successful year. Florida ranked sixth with over 3.5 goals per game last season with Matthew Tkachuk leading the charge. In his first year with the team, the left winger ended with 109 points, a new career-high. Around Tkachuk, the Panthers have most of their top scorers returning for another year. And Florida’s goaltender, Sergei Bobrovsky, just posted a save rate at 90% or above for the 11th straight year. The Panthers will strive to return to their heights of 2022-23.

Past Spotlights

A quarter of a century after last making the Stanley Cup Finals, the Panthers seem primed to return with perhaps the most stacked roster in the franchise’s history. Fresh off a 37-14-5 season which ended early to the eventual Cup Champions, Florida boasts a fresh, fast-paced style of play led by Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau. Formerly No. 2 overall draft pick Sam Reinhart came over from Buffalo in the offseason and should mesh well with that pace. The Panthers also added the ageless wonder, Joe Thornton to provide veteran leadership come playoff time. If netminder Sergei Bobrovsky can round back into his Blue Jackets form where he claimed two Vezina Trophies, the stage should be set for greatness. Feel the breeze as Panthers players whiz past you at high speed from FLA Live Arena’s Glass Seats. Territory Memberships also include club and valet parking. For perfect sightlines from center ice, Lounge 954 has a dedicated wait staff and complimentary food, beer, wine, and soda. In need of a private space for your small party? Loge boxes on the Plaza Level fit the bill. For groups of up to 50, suite rentals offer the privacy to conduct business, entertain clients, or reward employees for an upscale party.

The Florida Panthers went all-in this offseason on a makeover that they hope pushes them into contention in the Eastern Conference. The biggest acquisition may be standing in front of the bench – new head coach Joel Quenneville, who comes to South Florida coming off three Stanley Cup titles this decade with Chicago.

Goaltender Roberto Luongo retired, but the signing of two-time Vezina Trophy-winner Sergei Bobrovsky (signed through 2026) represents an upgrade at the position. Anton Stralman also joins the club, as he heads south from in-state rival Tampa Bay. They all join talented players Aleksander Barkov, Jonathan Huberdeau, Vincent Trocheck, Evgenii Dadonov, and Keith Yandle.

See a game at the BB&T Center in style by taking advantage of a number of the venue’s premium seating options. Your luxury experience starts with a suite, which is available in three different sizes – 15, 20, or 50 people. You get customized food and beverage options, an in-suite attendant, and private restrooms to go along with private box seats. There are a number of different options to get a suite, and you can even host a child’s birthday party with Stanley’s Suite Package.

There are two club-like venues in the arena. Club Lexus gives you seats at center ice, and you also get access to a private club with complimentary food, beer, and wine. The Corona Beach House offers seating in a different location, but it also gives you access to a club area with complimentary food and beverages.
