Little Caesars Arena Event Planning Guide

Catering

Detroit Red Wings Suites and Loges can be fully catered in advance at an additional cost. On average, most people spend about $80-$100 per person on catering but costs will depend mostly on size of your group, amount of alcohol being consumed, and the type of food you order.

Parking and Transportation

Detroit Red Wings luxury suites will include 3 VIP parking passes with each Red Wings suite rental, while Red Wings Loge Boxes come with 1 pass. VIP parking is located in the Little Caesars Arena Garage, which has a private entrance into Little Caesers Arena for Red Wings suite ticket holders.

Budget

Most Red Wings suite rentals will cost between $3,500-$7,000 while Red Wings Loge Boxes cost around $1,500-$3,000. In-suite catering will be an additional cost, a transaction that won't occur until game day. That typically can be about $80-$100 per person for a full spread and alcohol.

Club Access

The Detroit Red Wings and Little Caesars Arena offer many exclusive spaces to mingle. There are 6 different clubs in LCA, each with a different vibe and offering.

Dress Code

There is no strict dress code when in Detroit Red Wings Suites and Loge Boxes. For corporate events, attire may skew more toward business formal, however, most LCA suites will feature fans wearing Red Wings gear. All Red Wings suites are climate controlled and suites have a coat closet for storage

Venue Bag Policy

Soft-sided bags smaller than 14" x 14" x 6" are allowed in to Little Caesars Arena, as well as diaper bags and medical bags. These bags do not need to be clear. All other bags including hard-sided bags and bags larger than the dimensions mentioned are prohibited from being brought into the arena.

Entrances

Those with a Red Wings luxury suite ticket can enter Little Caesars Arena through a VIP entrance. One VIP entrance is near the Chevrolet/Northeast Entry and the other is directly from the LCA Garage. However, any gate is fine to use. LCA gates will open 1.5 hours prior to Red Wings games.

Child Ticket Policy

Children under 3 years old do not need a ticket to enter Little Caesars Arena for a Detroit Red Wings hockey game. That's provided the child sits on the lap of a parent or guardian. There is no age requirement on the Detroit Red Wings Suite Level or in a Red Wings Loge Box.

Red Wings Spotlight

Current NHL Season

The Red Wings are trending towards their first postseason appearance since 2015-16. It’s been the Dylan Larkin show on offense in Detroit for the last few years. The center has tallied the most points on the team in five of the last six campaigns. Larkin had a career-high 79 points in 2022-23. He has a little more help this year in Alex DeBrincat, who recently came over from Ottawa. The right winger has had back-to-back 65+ point seasons. And on defense, the Red Wings have a mix of youth and veterans. Moritz Seider continues to improve at just 22 years old. Shane Gostisbehere and Jeff Petry both have the experience to help push Detroit forward. Under head coach Derek Lalonde, expect another step forward for the Red Wings this year.

Little Caesars Arena has an abundance of Club and Suite options. Clubs, including the Players Club, Rehmann Club, Motor City Casino Club, and... MORE

Past Spotlights

Former Hall of Fame player Steve Yzerman enters his fourth year at the helm of the Red Wings franchise, and Detroit fans are looking forward to seeing if this team can make the leap to championship contender like Stevie Y’s Tampa Bay Lightning did in his fourth year down south. The Red Wings’ prospect pipeline ranks among the top in the league, and expect that to pay dividends this year. Moritz Seider and Lucas Raymond had good first years, and they will be joined this year by defenseman Simon Edvinsson and center Marco Kasper. Veterans Andrew Copp and Ben Chiarot join Dylan Larkin in the hopes that the once-proud franchise can snap its six-year playoff drought.

This will be the sixth season that the Wings call Little Caesars Arena home, and you can enjoy hockey in Hockeytown in style in a luxury suite. Each suite holds between 20 and 30 fans and ring nearly the entire length of the arena, so you can pick the view that’s best for you. All suites come with gourmet food and beverage options, three VIP parking passes, and access to the exclusive Blue Cross Lounge before the game.

Trouble on the power play and woes when it came to scoring goals in general put a massive dent in Detroit’s playoffs hopes a season ago. Tyler Bertuzzi being sidelined for all but nine games played a major part in that, and with him healthy again he could easily return to being a 20-goal scorer. Captain Dylan Larkin hopes to rebound after a subpar season and big things are expected of 2020 No. 4 overall draft pick Lucas Raymond. The biggest change for the Red Wings comes in net as Detroit lured away Calder Trophy finalist Alex Nedeljkovic from Carolina. Nedeljkovic’s 15-5-3 record and sub 2.00 goals allowed average pushed him into the starter’s crease over Petr Mrazek during the Hurricanes’ playoff run, making him one of the offseason’s hottest commodities. The most exciting seats inside Little Caesars Arena hang directly over the action in one of the Michigan First Gondola Boxes. This unique vantage point comes with a gourmet food and beverage package, VIP parking, and access to the Blue Cross Lounge before puck-drop. The Comerica Players Club is the venue’s crown jewel with access to seating just behind the bench and directly across from the Wings’ locker room, where you can catch an exclusive glimpse of players taking to the ice. The MotorCity Casino Club offers more of a social gathering for interaction, and for an elegant atmosphere with upscale décor try the Rehmann Club.
