Texans Spotlight

Current NFL Season

Houston is now led by the veteran hand of head coach Lovie Smith, and the team did make some strides last year under young quarterback Davis Mills. They also got three first-round picks from Cleveland for Deshaun Watson and drafted to improve their defense with cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. third overall out of LSU and lineman Kenyon Green later in the first round with that pick from the Browns. The Texans are young but have an exciting group that could surprise more teams like they did in 2021.

Suites at NRG Stadium offer the finest in luxury and convenience. Suites have fixed stadium seats along with bar stools and communal tables to allow you to have whatever setting and environment you needed. You get private parking and an exclusive stadium entrance to go with catering options from award-winning chefs from Houston and around the state of Texas. There are also drinks made... MORE

Past Spotlights

The Texans underwent a year of change, as head coach Bill O’Brien was dismissed four weeks into last season and was replaced by David Culley. The quarterback situation is also fluid with Deshaun Watson’s status up in the air. Currently, Tyrod Taylor is set to be the starter and rookie Davis Mills backing him up. Mark Ingram II and David Johnson will split the running-back duties. Meanwhile, there are solid weapons at wide-out with Brandin Cooks leading the way, followed by Chris Conley, Chris Moore, and veteran Danny Amendola. Suites holding anywhere between 12 and 28 people are lined along the 200 and 400 level of NRG Stadium. The amenities are plentiful and include access to the club lounge on the 300 level, options for in-suite catering, private restrooms, a floor-to-ceiling retractable window wall, and extra-wide open-air viewing seats on each suite’s private balcony. Party suites on the 300 level can accommodate anywhere from 45-150 guests in case you need more space to entertain and have all the same amenities as the suites on the 200 and 400 level.

The 2020 Houston Texans will have some new stars taking the field to help them dominate the AFC South. In one of the bigger stories during the NFL offseason, the Texans traded former star wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, to Arizona for running back David Johnson. Johnson will take over as the number 1 option in the backfield. While Deshaun Watson lost Hopkins, his receiving core gained Brandin Cooks and Randall Cobb to go along with Will Fuller. Head coach and GM, Bill O’Brien, is out to prove these moves were the final pieces needed to push the Texans further into the playoffs.

Leading the Texans on defense is J.J. Watt. When healthy, Watt has proven he is one of the best defensive players in the NFL. Having Whitney Mercilus next to Watt and Bradley Roby in the secondary gives the Texans stars on every level of defense. In the NFL Draft, the Texans used the limited number of draft picks they had on defense. DT Ross Blacklock was drafted in the second round and LB Jonathan Greenard in the third.

Experience the energy of Houston Texans football from a private suite at NRG Stadium. Texans suites are spread out amongst four suite levels. The 100 Level Suites are built just for the Texans games only and are located right at midfield directly above the last row of the 100 level seating sections. The most popular suite level at NRG Stadium will be the 200 Level. These suites stretch from end zone to end zone on each sideline. Right above the 300 level seating sections will be the 400 Level Suites. Just like the 200 Level Suites, there is no bad seat in the stadium. 200 and 400 Level Suites include exterior balcony seating, HDTVs, and a dedicated Texans suite attendant. Built for larger parties, the 800 Suite Level are enclosed with a large glass window for optimal viewing. The Texans suites on the 800 level are located on the visitor sideline.

Every March, NRG Stadium is also home to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo featuring some of the most popular musical performers today. The annual AdvoCare Texas Kickoff will feature two top college football programs. In December, NRG Stadium will host the Texas Bowl as part of college football’s bowl season.
