Wizards Spotlight

Current NBA Season

Washington has a new-look roster heading into 2023. Out went the multi-time All-Star Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis and in came Tyus Jones and Jordan Poole. Poole was the major addition - he averaged over 20 points and 4.5 assists with Golden State last campaign. Tyus Jones, who joins Poole in the backcourt, is a strong playmaker and effective shooter. The two are tasked with turning the Wizards around with the help of Kyle Kuzma. The forward produced a career-high 21.2 points per game last season. Washington’s first-round pick Bilal Coulibaly is a prospect for the future, so he won’t contribute much immediately. The Wizards can sneak into the postseason, but their best chances are in the coming years.

Capital One Arena is an elite venue for premium seating. The Ultra Club, Etihad Airways Lounge, and Devils Backbone Lounge are all great options. Amenities across the... MORE

Past Spotlights

Health will be the key to the Washington Wizards’ success this season. After being in the top-tier of scorers for the past couple of seasons, Bradley Beal struggled through an injury-riddled 2021-22 campaign. Kristaps Porzingis, who Washington acquired at the trade deadline, had his share of health issues as well, so the duo didn’t play together all of last year. It’s expected that the two will lead the Wizards with a strong offense in a tough Eastern Conference this season. Monte Morris at the point should be able to create with Beal and Porzingis as options, and veterans Will Barton and Kyle Kuzma will complement the two stars well.

Enjoy the new offerings at Capital One Arena this year, including the new Caesars Sportsbook, in style with a luxury suite rental for the game you want to attend! Enjoy feeling like a VIP right from the start with a private arena entrance, exclusive suite level, private in-suite bathrooms, and your choice of three food and beverage packages that are included with your suite at no additional cost.

Wes Unseld Jr. may be the new boss in town, but it’s firmly the Bradley Beal show in the district. When on the floor, the All-NBA Third Team guard can score at will, second in the league in points-per-game in each of the last two seasons. Besides Beal, the cupboard is hardly bare for the first-time head coach, Unseld Jr. Washington acquired Spencer Dinwiddie, who could easily return to averaging 20 points a night if fully recovered from a partial ACL tear. Montrezl Harrell also comes on-board in the Russell Westbrook trade with Los Angeles and with increased minutes the big man might be a regular double-double type of player. Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope were also pieces of that blockbuster trade and along with No. 15 overall draft pick Corey Kispert from Gonzaga could be the necessary additions to get the Wizards back in the playoffs. When it comes to customizable options, no one provides the premium experience quite like the Capital One Arena. The Executive Suite Privilege Program is perfect for people or corporations who want to dip their toe into renting a suite without the full commitment. Entertainment and luxury go hand-in-hand at the members-only Players Club. The 7,000 square foot venue features a deluxe bar, oversized leather seats, 14 HDTVs, a pool table and deluxe bar. An ideal setting for a night out with friends or entertaining clients, all for a fraction of the cost of suite ownership.
