Magic Spotlight

Current NBA Season

The Magic have one of the deepest guard rooms in the NBA. They further improved that core by drafting Anthony Black, an explosive guard out of Arkansas. Black joins Cole Anthony, Jalen Suggs, and Markelle Fultz as guards that are 25 and under on Orlando. The Magic also snagged Jett Howard with the 11th pick out of Michigan. The forward will have the perfect opportunity to learn and develop behind Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero. Wagner, who averaged over 18 points last season, and Banchero, who just won Rookie of the Year, both broke out in 2022-23. Orlando is trending towards a playoff return somewhat soon.

Amway Center has the perfect premium seating opportunities for fans. Club Seats include spacious leather seating, exclusive access, premium concessions, private lounges, and restrooms. The Walt Disney World Terrace is a two-tiered deck that has a private bar, room to... MORE

Past Spotlights

The Orlando Magic have a good history with No. 1 overall draft picks, as Shaquille O’Neal, Penny Hardaway, and Dwight Howard all led the club to an NBA Finals appearance. Now, the Magic drafted Duke freshman Paolo Banchero with the top pick in 2022. If the complement of players can stay healthy, we may see tremendous growth this season from this group, which includes Jonathan Isaac, Cole Anthony, Wendell Carter Jr., Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs, and Markelle Fultz. Many are comparing Banchero and the team’s potential with what happened in Memphis with Ja Morant, and if that’s the case, things may be turning around in Orlando.

There is a multitude of premium seating available at Orlando’s Amway Center, including both Founders Suites and Presidents Suites. Each hold 16-24 guests and come with two parking passes. Founders Suites are just 19 rows from the floor, providing some of the closest suites to the action in the NBA. Presidents Suites are on the exclusive Club Level and have 12 leather seats in the arena bowl and four ledge suites along with lounge suiting. Food and beverage catering options are available.

The Magic are betting on “new” to help right the ship. Jamahl Mosley will make his debut as a NBA head coach, guiding a young roster in a new era for Orlando basketball. Knee injuries cut the legs out from underneath two of their biggest weapons last season in Markelle Fultz and Jonathan Isaac, both of whom will provide a major boost when back healthy. Cole Anthony showed flashes of brilliance in game-ending situations over his uneven rookie season. Wendell Carter Jr. and Mo Bamba should battle for time at the center position. Despite not picking until the fifth spot in the draft, Orlando may have won the lottery by watching Gonzaga guard and potential top pick Jalen Suggs surprisingly slip to them. Premium seating at Amway Center offers options for all sized parties, from 2-to-16 people. Share space in their Legends Suite with other members as you dine on chef-prepared cuisine and take in the action from leather in-bowl seats. For a more private atmosphere, the Founders or Presidents Suites give great views of the court as your needs are taken care of by your own personal suite attendant. The all-inclusive MVP Tables choice includes dinner at Jernigan’s Restaurant prior to every home game and touch screen HDTVs at your comfortable, bar-style seats.
