Pelicans Spotlight

Current NBA Season

New Orleans’ core is ready for a deep playoff run. The three-headed monster of Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, and CJ McCollum is enough to compete. Williamson, when healthy, is one of the most dynamic players in the league. He’s averaged almost 26 points in 114 career games. Ingram and McCollum are perfect complements for Williamson. Both put up more than 20 points a game and shot nearly 40% from three. If all three are healthy together, the Pelicans are a competent contender, especially with their other role pieces. Herb Jones, Jonas Valanciunas, Dyson Daniels, and Jose Alvarado create a strong helping core. New Orleans shouldn’t be taken lightly this season.

Smoothie King Center has fantastic premium seating opportunities. New Orleans has eight semi-private VIP Club Booths that include catered food, access to the Club Lounge, private entrance, and top bottle service.... MORE

Past Spotlights

The most encouraging part of New Orleans’ run through the play-in round and into the playoffs last year after a disastrous 3-16 start was that they did it without star Zion Williamson. After missing the entire season with a foot injury, the former No. 1 draft pick is back to play under new head coach Willie Green. Brandon Ingram’s strong play continued throughout the season, and the addition of point guard C.J. McCollum from Portland was a key trade that should pay dividends for years to come. Dyson Daniels, the No. 8 pick in this year’s draft, joins second-year pros Herbert Jones, Jose Alvarado, and Trey Murphy III in the rotation. The Pelicans are balanced, young, and poised for an extended run of success if everyone stays healthy.

Plenty of premium seating options are available at the Smoothie King Center for a night out own the town in New Orleans, one of America’s best cities for entertainment. For small parties, a Loge Box is a semi-private space for up to four people and comes with all-inclusive food and drink. Suites ring the top of the arena and hold between 16 and 24 fans. This is an entirely private space with customizable food and beverage packages available.

Entering his third season, we’ve still yet to see the full potential of Zion Williamson. The Pelicans’ first overall draft has shown flashes that can make him a megastar, but staying healthy has been the key. Williamson is surrounded by the best supporting cast he’s had since draft day. A three-team trade in the offseason landed the Pels both Devonte Graham from Charlotte and Jonas Valanciunas from Memphis. Graham showed tremendous growth from year one-to-two with the Hornets before slightly regressing in his third season. Valanciunas adds instant double-double potential after averaging more than 17 points and 12 rebounds in his last season with the Grizzlies. Willie Green replaces Stan Van Gundy as the club’s third head coach in as many seasons, and will have one of the league’s most explosive scorers from the wing at his disposal in Brandon Ingram. Take in the action with your feet on the hardwood with the Smoothie King Center’s floor seats plan, which includes a food and beverage package and access to a VIP Premium entrance. Planning a small gathering? Loge Box options provide a semi-private space for up to four with delectable food and two alcoholic beverages per person included. All-Inclusive Suites guarantee playoff tickets and seats for up to eight concerts a year.
