Twins Spotlight

Current MLB Season

Minnesota won the AL Central in 2023, a feat it can fight for again in 2024. The Twins have a balanced offensive unit. Infielders Carlos Correa and Carlos Santana, along with outfielder Byron Buxton, have proven they can produce. Third baseman Royce Lewis was dominant in last season’s playoffs. And right fielder Max Kepler is reliable. Minnesota has a strong pitching staff as well. Starter Pablo Lopez earned his first All-Star appearance in 2023. Joe Ryan, Bailey Ober, and Anthony DeSclafani round out the rotation. And relievers Jhoan Duran and Griffin Jax can shut the door. Expect the Twins to be in contention come October.

Target Field is a great location for high-end amenities. Premium Seating Benefits, scattered across various clubs and suite options, are strong. Exclusive areas, gourmet dining and bar service, dedicated attendants, postseason priority, and more are... MORE

Past Spotlights

Minnesota was expected to get back into the playoff mix after a disappointing 2021, and while they were better for most of the year, the Twins fell short to Cleveland for the AL Central crown. The team has addressed needs in hitting and pitching. First, they were able to end up with Carlos Correa on a six-year deal after San Francisco and the New York Mets had concerns over his physical. Michael A. Taylor, Christian Vasquez and Joey Gallo also come over to help the hitting situation. With those reinforcements, Minnesota traded AL batting champ Luis Arraez to Miami for starter Pablo Lopez, who will fit in at the top of the rotation with Sonny Gray and Joe Ryan.

The Thompson Reuters Champions Club features the best seats in the house at Target Field: rows 1-12 behind home plate –and access to the climate-controlled club, where you can enjoy all-inclusive food and beverage service, private restrooms, and views of the Twins’ indoor batting cages. The Delta Sky360 Suite is also an all-inclusive club, and traditional suites are also available and host at least 20 fans, a climate-controlled interior along with outdoor seating equipped with heaters for those cool spring or fall games.

The Twins are hoping 2021 was an outlier, as the team finished in last place in the AL Central after winning the division in each of the previous two seasons. The club hopes a healthy Byron Buxton will pace the offense, and a big addition was brought in this offseason in the form of former Astros shortstop Carlos Correa. Kenta Maeda and Randy Dobnak start the year on the injured list, but Sonny Gray and Dylan Bundy were brought in to stabilize the top of the rotation, and youngsters Bailey Obor and Joe Ryan will be asked to step up and keep the team in games for its powerful offense to win.

Premium seating experiences at Target Field begin in the Thomson Reuters Champions Club. You get the best seats in the house – rows 1-12 behind home plate – and access to the climate-controlled club, where you can enjoy all-inclusive food and beverage service, private restrooms, and views of the Twins’ indoor batting cages. The Delta Sky360 Suite has great views of the field that has all-inclusive beverages and tapas-style food along with stylish cabana lounge seating.
