Most of the Cubs roster from their 2016 championship glory days has turned over, and the process of building a new winner has begun. Offensively, things look good with new acquisitions Dansby Swanson, Cody Bellinger, Eric Hosmer, Tucker Barnhart, and Trey Mancini joining familiar faces that remain like Ian Happ and Seiya Suzuki. Jameson Taillon joins Marcus Stroman at the front of the rotation, and the team will hope for better health from Kyle Hendricks and Drew Smyly on the back end.
