U2 Joshua Tree Tour 2017 Spotlight

U2 is going back on the road in 2017 for their unprecedented Joshua Tree Tour, which will feature their entire 1987 hit album of the same name as a celebration of its 30th anniversary this year. The band said the idea for putting on an entire concert tour playing songs from one album originated last year as they were finishing recording of their upcoming album, Songs of Experience. The Joshua Tree album was written in the mid/late 80s during a geopolitical environment not too dissimilar from our current one, the band observed. They felt it was only right to bring hits such as 'Where the Streets Have No Name' and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' to world's biggest stages in an effort to revive the themes they first sang about in 1987.

The Joshua Tree Tour will feature stops at some of the biggest stadiums across North America and Europe:
